Purpose of the
Minnesota Juvenile Officers Association
The primary purpose of this organization shall be to
encourage active participation in all matters that have to do with youth and
youth's problems as they pertain to the field of law enforcement. To assist in
every honorable way the furthering of the interest of its members and to bring
about better understanding not only of those engaged in the work, but with
various youth agencies with who we have contact, and to cooperate with all youth
organizations, both governmental and lay, which have a common interest in youth
and the public's welfare. To afford full protection to all law abiding citizens
of this state and to the end that the juvenile's best interests will be served.
Membership
Annual membership in the MN Juvenile Officers Association requires the
submission of an application and appropriate fee, or membership is
automatic with your registration to attend the annual conference. To

Annual Awards
Do you know an outstanding police officer or a non-sworn individual
who
specializes in working with youth and has made a significant impact on the youth
in their community? Every year at the MNJOA conference we recognize
individuals for their contributions. All nominations are due by
December 14th
of the year.
