2019 Annual Award Winners
Each year the Minnesota Juvenile Officers Association solicits nominations for the Juvenile Officer of the Year Award and the Pam Taschuk Outstanding Service Award.
The Minnesota Juvenile Officer of the Year Award is given to an outstanding police officer who specializes in working with youth within the state of Minnesota. The award recipient goes above and beyond the call of duty and truly is a role model for all police officers working with today’s youth.
The Pam Taschuk Outstanding Service Award is given to a non-sworn individual who specializes in working with youth. This award recipient goes above and beyond and is a role model for all. Pam Taschuk was a much-valued planning committee member of MNJOA who was a tragically murdered as a result of domestic violence in 2009. She was in inspiration to us all and is greatly missed.
