OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD
Pamela Taschuk

Pam Taschuk is receiving the MN Juvenile Officers Association Outstanding Service Award posthumously. Pam was a dedicated licensed Social Worker specializing in youth issues in Minnesota. Her impressive career included working with several school districts and police departments in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area and in a variety of capacities, but always in a youth related capacity.

She worked as a non-licensed Juvenile School Officer with the Richfield and Fridley Police Departments, as a School Social Worker with the Brooklyn Center Schools, as a Family Support Worker on the School Based Team Unit with Anoka County, and as a Social Worker/Truancy Officer with BlueSky Charter School. She was instrumental in positively impacting the lives of many juveniles and adults throughout her life. Pam served for several years on the MN Juvenile Officers Board and Planning Committee where her exuberance and love of life captivated everyone and whose presence will be sorely missed. She was a dear friend to many members of MNJOA and her enthusiasm and caring nature will never be forgotten.
